What is Honeycomb Christians?  

Several months ago, during a prayer time with a friend, the Lord impressed upon me the vision of a honeycomb.  As I asked for clarification, it became very clear to me that the honeycomb represents the work of multiple creatures working towards a greater goal.  As I contemplated that, it became more evident that we, as believers often stay sequestered in our own little honeycomb pod (ie church – mega, micro or other).

In our own church pod we worship, serve and build relationships.  While these are all good and necessary activities, we often never leave the borders of our pod.  In these times of drastic isolation and separation, it is becoming all the more necessary to reach out, reconnect and unite with fellow believers.

No man is an island.

No church is an island.

And……there is strength in numbers.

Thus, the concept of honeycomb (a structure that grows in size and strength and product) by connecting with other pods was birthed!  Out of obedience, I extended an e-mail invitation to those that I know to be true Christ followers. The true and final purpose of the group is still to be determined as God leads.
